Two-dimensional Work
I like to show some of my 2D work as part. Many of the pieces that I've created are more personal and have an element of interactivity to them.

The Pine Tree | view piece
The Pine Tree Book was written by my mother: Nancy L. Gallager while recovering from her heart transplant. The story is about the house my great-grandparents lived in. All typesetting, illustrations, and binding done by me. Screen printing done with the assistance of Chris Wiley.

Chronology of Design | view piece
The Chronology of Design was an MFA student project. I designed a fan book similar to the format of a pantone book. There were five 'blades' - each covered a period of design. Each blade pulled out to show a chart timeline with key players and inventions of that time period on top of a collage of images.

Richard Yarde Catalog | view piece
The Richard Yarde catalog was designed for an exhibit at the Massachusetts College of Art. I used a combination of one full color spread, 1 color pages on solid stock, and 1 color pages printed on vellum. The colors through the vellum play with each other, making it feel more colorful than it is. I received a letter from the artist thanking me for making such a beautiful catalog.

ESA Catalog | view piece
The ESA catalog was designed to showcase Electorophoresis Products. I designed this edition as well as gave the company a template to follow for future editions.

Wedding Invite | view piece
This wedding invitation was designed for my sister. The image of the callalillies was taken from the photograph of her grandmother's wedding bouquet. The soft imagery and simple two-colors made this run beautiful and cost-effective. The whole set printed together included: invitation, reply card, directions, table number, and thank you notes.

Adderley Series | view piece
The Adderley series postcards started with two postcards in 1996. I designed a format and logo-type to be used for the newly formed lecture series after Tyrone Adderley. Each year had a different lecturer's work to showcase and a new accent color.
